CRTC Unveils New Rules for Canadian Content!
The CRTC just dropped a brand new points system to define what counts as Canadian audiovisual content.
New creative roles like showrunners, heads of hair / makeup / costumes, VFX leads, and even virtual camera operators in animation now help a project qualify, and they must be real humans, not AI.
